A free estimate will be given on vehicles arriving at our bodyshop – or you can send us pictures of any damage and we can provide a rough estimate over the phone or email – just contact us.
Once the vehicle is with us, it will be stripped down and prepared for the repair process to begin.
Our team have lots of experience in panel-beating and welding on all vehicle makes. In some cases, the damage might be too large to be repaired – we will then find the appropriate replacement panels and parts. The repaired panels are then prepared and primed in our low bake oven.
The final finish paintwork is undertaken by our paintwork specialists to match your vehicle – this includes any custom finish paints such as colour shift, pearl finishes, spectraflash, spectraflair, marble, black chrome, flourescent, candy finishes, holographic flake and metal flake.
Finally, all vehicles are cleaned inside and out with additional quality control checks to make sure the car is perfect before being released back to the customer.

- Wing mirrors

- Air intakes
- Trims and mouldings
Our expert fitters can replace the existing bumpers and side skirts of your current vehicle with any manufacturer approved kits.
Alloy wheel customisation
We can provide new alloy wheels for your vehicle. We supply and fit loads of makes at great prices – just ask. Your wheels will be fitted with the correct tyres, ready to roll. We can even customise alloy wheels for whatever look you’re going for.
Alloy Wheel Refurbishment
Alloy wheels are the most easily damaged part of any vehicle. Hitting the kerb when parking can cause scratches and scuffs, potholes can cause chips and dents and even the weather can dull and flake the paint. Luckily, most of this damage can be quickly and easily reversed.
Alloy wheel refurbishment process
- Visual inspection of damaged wheels/tyres
- Damage is then either machined out or filled
- Anti-corrosion techniques are used to protect the wheel
- Surfaces are primed and prepared for painting
- Primer is hardened in our low bake oven
- A top coat of paint is then applied
- Two coats of clear lacquer are then applied to the front and back of the wheel
- The wheels are fully cured with another round in our low bake oven
- The wheels are then ready to have the tyres refitted
Alloy wheel finishes
Some people prefer to have a unique look to their alloy wheels, even if they are undamaged – we can cater for this also. We can finish your alloy wheels in any colour or combination you want. Our most popular options are:
- Matt black
- Gloss black
- Polished lip
- Coloured pinstripe
SMART Vehicle Repairs
JS Coachworks bodyshop can undertake SMART (Small Medium Area Repair Technique) repairs when possible. Often, it is not the best option to do these repairs based on the type and location of the damage and due to the technical limitations of this method – an exact colour match to existing paintwork is very difficult. However, sometimes these methods can be used and include:
- Small scratches
- Stone chips
- Moulding cracks
- Corrosion and rust
- Aluminium pittingr
- Fibreglass repair
- Carbon fibre repair
Paintless dent removal
Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) can be undertaken on damaged panels where the paint hasn’t been broken. Our trained technicians use steel rods to gently massage and remove a dent from a damaged area, encouraging the panel to return to its original factory pressed shape, keeping the original paintwork intact. No paints, filler or chemicals are used during this repair method.
Plastic bumper repair
Plastic bumpers don’t always need to be replaced when damage occurs. Instead they can be saved with innovative auto reconditioning techniques. Our experienced technicians can repair scuffed, scratched, dented, detached, and torn bumpers for much less than the cost of replacement.
Custom Paintwork & Resprays
Paint is considered the most expensive part of repair work, so it is important to get your respray exactly right. That’s why we have experienced paintwork technicians to make sure the job is always perfect.
Today’s water-based paints require highly specialised treatment to ensure a perfect finish that will last. To achieve this, panels are sprayed and then baked in our low bake spray oven.
Our expert paintwork technicians can offer a customised paintwork service, painting vehicles to any owner-specified colour scheme and design.
